4^rd – 6^th December 2026Carsten, one of our “TPC Members at Large(!)” is organising a Social Event in December 2026 in Denmark and providing plenty of notice, so that you can decide, book hotels and travel early and save up your pennies, for a Tall Excursion like no other!The event is self-financing and you book your own travel and hotels and Carsten will arrange booking and an indicative price for a Christmas Dinner on one evening.The anticipated outline schedule isFriday 4^th Dec (or earlier) – Arrive and settle in

Friday 4^th Dec – Informal Dinner

Saturday 5^th Dec – Copenhagen Christmas Market

Saturday 5^th Dec – Drinks and Christmas Dinner at renowned Darling Bistro and Bar (www.restaurantdarling.dk)Sunday 6^th Dec – Informal open sightseeing day (unorganised/disorganised!) or fly homeSeveral people have already booked and are staying at Comwell Copenhagen Portside. Carsten will share any preferential rate bookings available, or you can book direct or through the usual booking sites. You are of course free to book and stay wherever you wish. A few people have already expressed an interest an topping and tailing the Friday and Saturday for a longer stay.

Travel is usually by air, with arrivals at Copenhagen airport, or for the adventurous there is a rail option via Brussels which takes longer, but is arguably more fun!
