London Day out – A wonderful day out in London, selection of cultural and other activities, including a walk via landmarks and places of interest.
10.00am Meeting at Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington, London.
“From unmissable exhibitions to extraordinary collections, there is something for everyone. Explore our miles of galleries or dip into the exciting array of exhibitions & displays.”
Admission is free (although some exhibitions carry an additional charge – we will be focusing on the plethora of free things to see).

Nearest tube station is South Kensington (under ten minutes walk to Victoria & Albert Museum)
11.30am Walking to China Town passing, Harrods, Wellington Arch down Constitution Hill to Buckingham Palace and The Mall.
12.45pm – A wander around China Town and Covent Garden. We will stop for a rest and have a light lunch before a short (fifteen minute) walk, via the Royal Opera House, to Lincoln’s Inn Fields and the Sir John Soane’s Museum. This museum is small, filled and one of London’s hidden gems.
