Entering the TPC chat room indicates acceptance of the rules posted on our Legal Notices page.
For your own protection, never give out any personal information whilst chatting online. This includes your real name, phone number, postal address, passwords, banking details etc. Never arrange to meet someone offline that you only know through chat room conversations.
In our chat room:
- each new chat message appears at the TOP of the list of chat messages.
- TPC members are highlighted by being underlined. You must be logged in as a member for your nickname to be shown underlined in the user list.
- if you are a club member, you can reserve your preferred nickname so that no-one else can use it. To do this, email the webmaster your nickname along with your full name and address to aid membership verification.
- TPC members that have entered the chat room using their preferred nickname are shown with an asterisk ('*') at the end of their nickname. This proves that they are the person that regularly uses that nickname.
