FRIDAY NIGHT: ‘Meet and Greet’ with an all-you-can-eat buffet at 8:15pm in the Terra Cotta Chinese restaurant near the hotel.
SATURDAY DAY: from 1030am, tour around Leicester’s town centre starting at Castle Park and calling at the 14th century Guildhall and Leicester Cathedral.
For the more energetic, Go-Karting at Stretton 2000 racetrack at Stoughton Airfield, Leicester at 10:30. The rest of the day will be yours to do as you please.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Get your medieval outfits on for the banquet at the home of Leicestershire Rugby, the Leicester Tigers Ground. Includes a Dance Caller and her band, for the end of the night’s entertainment, from Nottingham. There will be a prize for the most imaginative costume.
SUNDAY DAY: Free day. There is a festival in Castle Park over August Bank Holiday weekend. A wide range of music, street theatre, dance, storytelling, children’s activities, guided walks and free events will fill the park.
Jo Jager is organising a Burlesque class for those who fancy a go,with various feather boas and things to tickle your fancy for an hour or so from 11am.
Lou has a friend of hers coming in to give makeovers ready for the Big Gala
Ball of 2010 in the hotel’s Derby Suite.
SUNDAY GALA BALL: To start off the evening, there will be drinks from 6pm in the foyer of the hotel with a little entertainment to get you there on time, there will also be a photographer on hand to capture you all in
your finery and to provide you with a lasting reminder of your evening, if you so wish.
After the meal, there will be entertainment from a brilliant local
cabaret duo Fingers and Thumbs. They will take us through
the evening, dancing and drinking until the wee small hours.

Do you get to the end of the TPC Anniversary weekend and wish you didn't have to go home? Well, next year you don't have to!
From the hotel in Leicester we will make our way to Quarnford Lodge, near Buxton. (We can check in anytime after 4pm).
This fabulous house sleeps 20 adults. Go to www.quarnfordlodge.co.uk and have a look.
The kitchen is beautifully fitted, the dinning room will seat all 20 of us for dinner, there is a large lounge, a separate snug with TV and even a karaoke machine.
9 out of the 10 bedrooms are en suite (the 10th has a private bathroom across the hall). None of the beds have footboards and are predominantly twin rooms. Bed linen and towels and power and electricity are all included.
There are two pubs within half a mile and Buxton is only a 10 minute drive away.
THINGS TO DO
There is a lot of walking in the area - www.peakwalking.co.uk. There are walks of varying lengths from the Royal Oak at Hurdlow (www.peakpub.co.uk) and many from the Lodge itself.
Chatsworth House is half an hour away as is Alton Towers. Go Karts and Mini Motos; Climbing and Caving; Riding; Shooting; Paragliding; hang-gliding; gliding; ballooning are all within easy reach (more details are on the Lodge website).
A couple of pampering companies will come out to us for massage, manicure, pedicure etc. Again details are on the website.
EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY
We will take it in turns to cook and wash-up. As there will be 20 of us and we are there for 4 nights, this means there will be a team of 5 people each day in the kitchen. I will sort out a menu (with a veggie option) beforehand. I am happy to help out if people aren't used to group catering - but I'm equally happy if you tell me to sod off!
PRICE AND BOOKING DETAILS
For just £89* you can enjoy a midweek break at this luxurious house. Booking is on a first come first served basis. The non en-suite room will be given to the last 2 people to book.
FOOD
Food will be £20 a head. We will collect this from everyone when you arrive at the Lodge. This will pay for 'breakfast food' and dinner (main and dessert). It will not pay for drink, chocolate,snacks, personal toiletries or lunch.
If there is any money left over it will be share back out between the group.

Should the cheque be received after all the places are filled, I will either return it to you or ask if you wish to go on a waiting list should anyone drop out. The £89 is only returnable if someone else if found to fill your place.

You will have no cover for loss of personal belongings. If you wish to insure yourself against damage or loss this is your individual responsibility.
